Reflection

We are learning about describing characters. I know that I need to think about what the characters look like, what they like or don't like, what they do and where they live. It is easy to describe characters because it's in the book.

Tell the time

I was learning about telling the time.

I know when the minute hand is pointing to the 6, it is half past time.

I learnt that there are different ways to tell the time.

It was tricky to tell the time when the minute hand was on the 3, because I kept getting tricked.

I was learning to find information from a non-fiction text. I had to read the pages carefully to know whether to write a yes or a no. I used the contents page.

I was learning about multiplication. I learnt to do skip counting in 2s, 5s and 10. It is easy to skip count.

We are learning to write instructions. I know some instructions are only in pictures not words. It was easy to put them in order so they can then make sense.

I was learning about recount writing.  I can sequence my writing. It was easy to put capital letters and full stops in the right places.
